Boards and leadership
Dr Manrina Rhode has sat on the Board of Directors of the British Association of Private Dentistry since 2022. Before joining the board she served the association for three years as Chair of Communications and for three years on its Executive Committee. Earlier in her career she sat on the Board of Directors of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where she served for three years as Chair of Charity.
Dr Manrina Rhode sits on the advisory board of the Dentistry Show, held each year in Birmingham and London, helping to shape its programme. The organiser describes the Birmingham show as “the UK's largest event for dental professionals”.
She has served on the editorial board of the journal Clinical Dentistry.
Teaching other dentists
Dr Manrina Rhode founded the DRMR Academy, where dentists from all over the world train with her. She dedicates a significant amount of her time to improving the reputation and quality of cosmetic dentistry around the world, by mentoring and supporting other dentists. She has taught veneers around the world, including at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry annual conference in Hawaii and on her veneer course in Berlin, and has spoken at Ivoclar's DSO conference in Liechtenstein. She is the only dentist to have been invited to join the faculty of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), speaking to aesthetic plastic surgeons.

Over two decades in cosmetic dentistry
Dr Manrina Rhode graduated in dentistry from Guy's Hospital, now King's College London, in 2002, and has been registered with the General Dental Council since qualifying. She went on to complete training up to master's level with the Aesthetic Advantage at the New York Dental Institute, and completed three years of advanced occlusion training at the Dawson Academy in Florida.
She became the first dentist at Harvey Nichols and Harrods, was one of the first dentists to train in facial aesthetics, in 2004, and brought gum fillers to the UK in 2017. She went on to found DRMR Clinic in Knightsbridge, where she is the lead clinician, and the DRMR Academy.
